Infiniti M37 Is A Luxury Car With A Sporty Side

The 2011 Infiniti M37 has been updated with a more distinct grille, new headlamps, tail lights, sculpted hood and as a result it has the appearance of being more aggressive and a touch sportier. One trim is available for the car but there are many optional packages to select from such as Deluxe Touring, Technology, Sport Touring, Deluxe Touring and Premium.

This car is a luxury vehicle and will go head to head with other vehicles in its class such as the Mercedes Benz E-Class, BMW 5-series, Jaguar XF and Lexus GS lineup. It's equipped with a robust 3.7 Liter V6 engine that outputs a total of 330 horsepower. The vehicle can be driven in 4 modes: Eco, Sport, Normal and Snow. Fuel mileage isn't the best but not too bad when you consider how powerful the engine is at 18 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the freeway. In terms of speed, this car travels from zero to sixty in a speedy 5.9 seconds.

The more aggressive stance is complemented with 5-spoke 18" sweet wheels, a set of xenon headlights and a moonroof. Dual exhaust with chrome tips are in place plus UV reducing solar glass has been installed in order to ensure that your drive is comfortable. A seven speed transmission is available and comes with a manual-shift mode. An "Eco-Pedal" system promotes more fuel efficient driving and provides instant feedback in regards to how efficient you are driving.

The cabin is roomy and comfortable and is generously appointed in luxurious leather and accented with Japanese Ash wood trim. Sufficient room is in place to comfortably seat 5 persons. A center console is situated between the two front seats with various controls. The front seats can be heated for your comfort plus there is Push Button Ignition available. A Dual Zone Automatic Temperature Control is in place, plus the car works seamlessly with Bluetooth and allows hands free calling. You can easily connect your iPod or music player via a USB interface. The premium package provides extras such as a premium Bose audio system with ten speakers, a DVD player and a 9.3 music storage drive for music storage. An optional navigation system can be added which includes voice recognition and instant traffic news and updates. Active noise control utilizes a microphone to detect noise and neutralizes it for a quiet cabin even at high speeds.

This automobile makes use of all the latest safety equipment. The M37 features the optional Blind Spot Intervention system which lets you know when other vehicles are in your blind spot and actually assists you back towards your lane if you start to move over into the other lane. Intelligent Brake Assist automatically applies brake pressure as required and the Forward Collision Warning system provides an audible warning if it senses an impending collision. Other safety precautions include an Air Bag system with front and side bags, Electronic Stability Control, Anti Lock Brakes and Traction Control.

The base cost of the 2011 M37 is around $46k, a fair price when you consider the car's good looks, luxurious interior and steady engine. If you are considering buying a luxury car and want other choices besides the more common Mercedes or BMW, the Infiniti M37 is a prime candidate.
